About The Artist
Sandra Warriner’s creative journey began when she was a young girl growing up in Markham, Ontario. She entered a drawing contest held by the Toronto Star and received a Review of Artistic Distinction for her pencil portrait of Paul Bunyan. From that moment on, she was highly encouraged to follow her artistic abilities.
Years later, that same creative drive led her into Ontario’s music scene. Sandra is one of the six co-founding partners of the Vital Spark Folk Club in Oshawa, serving as its Marketing and Merchandising Director. This was a musical foundation that built a soul full of memories.
Her path eventually led her into the halls of the award-winning, world-renowned Harris Institute for the Arts in Toronto, where she worked alongside founder John Harris, registrar Stan Janes, and a multitude of award winning faculty and alumni.
Today, Sandra has returned to her passion as a self-taught alcohol ink artist. Her artwork flows from a lifetime of creative exploration and a fluid meditation of soulful expressionism.
Each piece is a celebration of colour and imagination, drawn from a lifetime of creative expression.
